Local residents have spent weeks litter picking this area clearing hundreds of bags of disgusting litter and vehicle tyres from the ditches along the lane and thousands of visitors enjoy walking and bird watching at Summer Leys Nature Reserve. 

The whole area of the Nene valley is beautiful and needs ongoing protection to enable future generations to enjoy and benefit from it from a health and well-being perspective.

Last year a field on Hardwater Lane was used for a travellers horse fair during the Covid pandemic and this caused huge concerns to the local communities that I am proud and privileged to represent.
