The application to build on Weekley Hall Wood is back! Buccleuch has lodged amended plans for development of the Wood and the meadow, and these have now been submitted for approval.
They aren’t as bad as the original plans, but are still completely unacceptable. The Council has launched a fresh public consultation on the new plans.
Responses have to be sent in ASAP but we will confirm the deadline shortly. We are urging everyone to object to these new plans and in the next 7 -10 days we’ll put out some suggested points for people to make. Even if you objected to the original plans, please object to the new ones. too.
To object, please click this link and then “Comment on this application”.
