Here is my first update on the petition since starting it 7 days ago. I have taken a couple of actions, firstly I have managed to arrange a face to face meeting with Rob Waltham to further discuss my/our concerns and secondly I have raised a Freedom of Information Request with the council asking them for details of all the near misses that have been reported at the Berkeley Roundabout. The most obvious thing I have noticed about the comments from people who have signed the petition is how often they see a near miss, these happen frequently every day but they go unreported, this is vital evidence we need to prove our case. It is very easy to report a near miss once you have registered on the website (link attached) please have a look and register all the near misses you see, you can even back date it to input ones you have already seen.
