CROY is over run by daily Scotrail user`s cars parked and abandoned for the day. Resulting in serious adverse effects on road safety throughout the village.

The entrance to Holy Cross Primary school is adversely affected. Environmentally and safety wise. Failure by North Lanarkshire Council to include CROY in current Traffic Restriction Orders proposals could be disastrous for children attending Holy Cross Primary. Increased traffic levels would be potentially dangerous at an already dangerous junction. 

CROY needs to be included in current Traffic Restriction Orders being proposed by NLC at Strath Brennig Road, Smithstone. 

NLC needs to protect CROY residents from danger and gridlock resulting from migration of vehicles resulting from their proposal to put Traffic Restriction Orders o along Strath Brennig Road.

CROY already has problems with commuter parking. Junction at Barbegs is a nightmare.  Overloaded surrounding area is causing grave concern over safety. Especially to primary school pupils going to Holy Cross Primary. CROY is disturbed by residents being unable to get in and out of their street safely. This is a direct result of commuter parking. Often vehicles are abandoned anywhere as commuters rush towards CROY Station to catch a train.
