Can someone please explain the logic behind the decision NOT to renew the contract of Jim's Burger Van which is situated and has been for a very long number of years in the car park at Airdrie Sports Centre? This man has worked tirelessly to exceed customer expectations and is a valued member of our community! This is his livelihood and his business is so valued by passing traffic and repeat customers on a daily basis. Why cut the cord on a small family business that is very successful due to a huge amount of hard work and dedication? Jim has overcome a lot through the years, but still managed to ensure his van was open every day for his loyal customers, who I'm sure will be so disappointed and vexed for him as he has a great relationship with each and every one of them! In an area of high unemployment and lethargy , surly this decision sends out the wrong message to people who are striving to work hard to make their own money and not sit back and accept benefits !
