On February 10th, a sweet boy by the name of Alonso Jones committed suicide at Ronald Reagan highschool. The following day there were threats of shooters and violence on campus yet students were still forced to go to school, already traumatized from what happened the day prior. Alonso was relentlessly bullied by students on campus everyday, staff was aware and didn’t take action. Alonso is not the first nor the last to be terrorized on neisd campuses, the schools are in need of serious reform. We are pushing for retraining of staff on how to handle bullying, how to stop it, and harsher punishments for those involved. We are demanding safe spaces for students affected, We are demanding justice for Alonso Jones, and trying to insure something like this never happens again. 
We are tired of the schools dismissing students feelings for the sake of their reputation. SAY HIS NAME! #justiceforalonso
