As evidenced by the book Three Women, Aaron Knodel had a statutory sexual relationship with Maggie Wilken when she was a minor (17 years old) in 2009. Despite evidence that overwhelmingly confirms the abuse, as well as physical evidence that corroborates the relationship, Mr. Knodel was partially acquitted in 2015 by a Cass County, North Dakota jury and the rest of the charges were dropped. 

Setting aside the manipulation and abuse Maggie Wilken suffered by both the justice system and her abuser, this petition addresses Aaron Knodel's right to teach minors.

His teacher's license was reinstated shortly after the trial. In addition to being granted backpay, Mr. Knodel continues to teach and through his job as a teacher and coach, he has continual access to minors.

While Ms. Wilken may have been the first victim to come forward, Mr. Knodel represents an existential threat to students in the WFPS school district and to students nationwide who could be under his "care."  If you believe Mr. Knodel should never have been reinstated as a teacher, if you believe he should not continue to have the right to teach, please sign this petition.
