The NC State ABC Commission wastes millions of tax payer dollars while running an outright monopoly on liquor sales in this state. It's time for a change! 

According to the News and Observer:

"The audit found that the Alcoholic Beverage Control Commission lost the state nearly a million dollars a year —specifically, $11.3 million over the course of 13 years — due to poor handling of contracts. ABC officials also wasted $2.1 million by renting warehouse space that they then kept empty for seven years, the audit found."

Privatizing liquor sales will rid our great state of one more over regulated industry run by bloated bureaucrats. It will also create new job and entrepreneur opportunities across the state. Creativity will then allow the privatized businesses to better serve their communities based on what the actual needs are.
