After being in the insurance industry for 19 years unfortunately, I have had to turn down many good clients because solely based off of the breed of dog they have. It has always weighed heavy on me to have to do this. There are only a few NC based insurance carriers that will allow all dog breeds for home insurance and one of those you have to be military to be a member. Im tired of good risk being sent away because companies restrict the type of dog you love and have chosen. All dogs are born good. Not allowing ALL BREEDS is a form of prejudice and needs to stop! We need to stand up for the voiceless and stand up against breed discrimination. North Carolina is home to many races, sexualities and religions... we respect them all! All are welcome here, why cant all dogs be welcome too?

New York just passed a law banning breed discrimination so this can be done! We just have to stand together to make this happen. We have to follow in their foot steps and let NC law makers know we will not stand for injustice for breeds just because they were born looking a certain way. 

Punish the deed not the breed!
