Many American men/women are living in poverty. Working at will has forced some Americans into committing illegal acts in order to support their families. 4.3% of males between the ages of 25-34 are unemployed; however, an astonishing 11.1% are African American, or black males age 25 and up. With numbers like this, it's no wonder why many women dominate the work force. Women are being forced to work more than 1 job to support their families. Leaving American children to fend for themselves and turning them to the streets for guidence, love, and that sense of family stability. We Americans are requesting more jobs, stability, and career success, but achieving our long term goals is being made impossible because employers are abusing the work at will law. Many employers and managere are retaliating against employees based on race, sexual orientation, religious beliefs, and even some disabilities. Some have gone as far as using the work at will law to fire employees who've reported criminal activities within their companies. Employers should be mandated by statute of law to provide just cause for termination. In doing so, many of the hard working, loyal, honest Americans will be able to secure their futures, goals, and provide more stability for their families. Thanks
