Considering the fact that COVID-19 & New Developing Viruses has forced classes online. Us Eagles ask our Illustrious HBCU: North Carolina Central University to Hear Your Voices &  take the appropriate action that the university should take is to allow us students to choose if our classes will be graded on a pass/fail scale or on the regular grading scale. Whatever the choice, all classes should still count for their respective requirements. In reality many of these classes do not properly translate to an online environment. In addition many of the professors in our school, have very little  experience managing courses online, and a hard time communicating with their students diligently.

We feel that the implementation of Pass of Fail will minimize stress that is placed on students having a hard time managing work, school and  the unexpected circumstances they’ve endured during this pandemic. The benefits of enforcing this administrative change severely outweigh the risks. It is much more fair to students that are struggling to have "P's" on students' transcripts than potentially risking students GPA due to the new shift to strictly online courses. Us Eagles hope that the University hears our voices and enacts this change to the benefit of the entire student community of North Carolina Central University.
