To the Boston City Council: We the undersigned residents are deeply concerned for the safety of our community due to frequent and severe traffic accidents at the intersection of Capen Street and Norfolk Street. Our pedestrians, particularly students and families, are unable to cross safely, and the lack of visible traffic enforcement has led to reckless driving. We urgently request the installation of permanent traffic-calming measures, such as speed bumps, illuminated crosswalks, and pedestrian signals to prevent further injuries and ensure safe passage for all residents.
