Save our Norwich Centre

The Issue

Covid, local and national funding cuts, you name it, innocent people always end up being the victims. Even in the light of the pandemic, whose repercussions on young peoples' education will be felt for many years to come, the ESFA have decided to withdraw funding from an organisation who have fought for and delivered inspirational education for young people of all abilities in Norwich for many years.

Our Centre faces closure on July 31st leaving existing learners, many of whom who have additional needs, having to face the emotional upheaval of having to move to another provider or becoming yet another NEET statistic in Norfolk.

Our learners, their parents and staff want and need the Norwich Centre open, we need somebody to listen and take notice!

We may be small but our learners all have successful outcomes because we look at the whole person, not just their academic ability and we prepare our young people to go into the real world with confidence.  We offer our learners a small, quiet place to study and grow, which other educational organisations in our local area find difficult to offer because of their large size.  Many of our learners cannot attend mainstream colleges because they would be totally overwhelmed, how is this fair to them?

Please support our petition and be our learners voice.  We would also welcome discussions with any investors who would be interested in funding our centre for an initial year.
