This has been a long journey for us here in Nova Scotia.  During 2018 we here on St. Mary's found out that a proposed giant open pit gold mine was entering the approval process.  Yes its called an approval process.  

Since 2018 there have been many highlights to this tragedy in the making and this one is but another that has made national news.  Clearly painting a picture of what we have entered into with a resurgence of gold mining in NS.
