Tina Northrup has written a blog post on Municipal Ecological governance that is a good read on the value of what the Colchester County did in protecting the watershed. In it is also a reference to a letter from Atlantic Gold to a number of ministers complaining about being prevented from attending a public meeting in Sherbrooke. If you recall Ms. Belanger, the CEO of Atlantic Gold, was also the lady in attendance at the infamous Tailings impoundment public meeting held in Sherbrooke. She was the lady who cut off my dad while speaking in the first meeting and she is the lady who had her security guard contact the RCMP and throw John Perkins violently out of the building in the second! The letter is a must read!
