Remember to keep an eye on the federal web page regarding the Cochrane Hill proposed gold mine from time to time for updates.          Link below.

It will be important that folks write in and respond to the Environmental Impact Statement that St. Barbara (Atlantic Gold) submits to the federal government.  We are not sure when this will happen as the date keeps getting bumped ahead by St Barbara.  There is no time frame requirement for St. Barbara to submit.  When they do it will be posted on this federal web page link below. 

The disappointing part of the process is that we all only have one month to respond.  Definitely set up in favor of the Gold Mine.  When this EIS is submitted please consider writing a passionate submission about your experiences on the river or in the St. Mary's River Valley.  Your submissions right beside the science based submissions will most certainly help stop this mine!  Hey, why not start a letter now and be ready? 

You can be sure I will be posting on this update here when they do submit their EIS.
