After two months of collaboration promises, Jeffords Law office basically confirmed that she indeed played a role in the wrongful conviction of Michael Christopher Blocker and gave out a cold call referral to another law firm. 

As God would have it, our prayers got answered. We found an attorney who was willing to take Michael's case. Now, We understand how in 2023 - everyone involved is trapped. 

Let's look at all the angles:

1) If Michael could get parole, then he would have to go on a sex offender list for a bogus rape case. He is not a sex offender.

2) The Parole and Pardon board can not grant an eligibility date because a life sentence with recidivism equals life without parole which is capital punishment. Richmond County needs to overturn the sentencing.

3) No new Attorney can do anything with the case because it is too old of a case and apparently the "out of time" appeal process was eliminated in 2022.

So either the Augusta, Georgia D.A. forms a CIU ( Conviction Integrity Unit) or either the FBI and/or or the GBI just corrects the obstruction of justice.

There is no quiet, polite fix. Time is over. There has been no compromise. I only see countless cover-ups and  failure to correct.

As long as money continues to drain out my family's pocket, this case will continue on until Michael is released and restitution is paid. Those seeking re-election . .   Well, hopefully, they will never run uncontested ever again. Looking forward to terms expiring. It's been 16 years served over possession of stolen costume jewelry and some pennies. Those responsible for this monstrosity will answer one day.
