Greetings Supporters:

Augusta, Georgia has shown retaliatory actions since I started assisting with Michael's wrongful incarceration. They just continue giving me something to add to this exoneration timeline.

The prison that Michael is at is being run by the inmates. Gang members are now claiming cells as their own personal suites and subleasing the beds for as much as $1500. Michael has had to sleep on the floor for the last couple of weeks. 

Every time I call to speak to the warden, I get transferred to counseling. The counselor is kind and respectable. She lets me know everyone has a cell assignment. No one can refuse a roommate. They visit the dorm every other day, but the reality is that she is blowing me smoke. It is not working that way.

She claims that Michael's sentence is Iife with the possibility of parole, but the parole and Pardon board says the recividism attached to the sentencing makes it Life without parole.

No prison wanted to accept Michael as a transfer because many of the prison administrations know that our campaign stays on top of the foolishness. They did not want the headache. Then DOJ transferred him out the weekend leading up to Easter holiday and the Masters golf tournament weekend. He then gets thrown into a dorm without formal classification even though prison records show a classification date-  Michael has been serving time for going on 16 years now- so he is not knew to this. Whomever put that classification date in the system did it without following standard operating procedures.

Nonetheless, we are documenting all the craziness. Georgia already owes Michael for the 2010 prison attack - why do they want to continue putting themselves in a liability situation? Just Release him.

At this point, we are praying that the public defender office will re-engage since Hugh Hadden who was the lead of the  2008 defense team has disappeared into retirement.

Keep praying that this nightmare will end. Keep praying that the retaliation will end.
