The Charlotte Observer newspaper started a Special Report last Sunday on the corruption of the North Carolina prison system. The report got the attention of the North Carolina governor, and it is prompting a closer look at identifying the deficiencies in the prison hiring process, etc. I am hoping that other States like Georgia will also follow suit. I would love to see all the monies that families are paying into the prison system through prison vendors for sneakers, socks, towels, wash cloths, undergarments, food supplements, estamps for emails, phone calls, and the list goes on. Every family has a cousin or two that has had some "judicial system" challenges. Many families try not to discuss it, but everyone is paying into the prison system. Why not make it tax deductible? Prison reform will begin when prison investors pockets take a hit! On a separate note, enjoy Chapter 14 attached!
