Trauma and transformation can co-exist 

This  is me two weeks post surgery, unfortunately a 4.5 hour operation turned into 7 hours when the surgeons made the decision to stop, If they did not stop I could of permanently lost my voice or permanently stopped breathing.

They have removed all my lymph nodes on the right side of my neck and half my thyroid and a second surgery has been booked where I will endure the same traumatic painful surgery to my left side with the remaining thyroid to be removed.

As I adjust to my my scars I have found this much more difficult than I anticipated 

it’s a daily battle one I am determined to overcome because if I don’t then what was the point of all of this?

At my own personal cost both mentally and physically I am doing my up most to raise awareness on the aftermath of Non Fatal Strangulation.
