myself like many other victims of domestic violence were subject to numerous strangulations from our abusers and whilst I have suffered extensive trauma to my neck including my voice box, I had no idea the internal damage the strangulation had caused on the inside.

For an unrelated incident I was in hospital where they conducted CT scans of my neck and my chest what they discovered has changed my life forever. The doctor sat me down and asked if I have ever had any trauma to my neck. I informed her of the above and she said I believe this has caused numerous lesions on your thyroid and you must be tested as a matter of Urgency.

what followed was numerous CT scans and biopsies on my trigger my neck.

on 5th September I was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic cancer which has covered my thyroid all lymph nodes on the right side of my neck and I have tested positive for Mestatic Papillary thyroid Carcinoma Tall Cell Subtype 60%

No cure !

within 8 days further CT scans and biopsies were performed informing me within 8 days the cancer has spread to my entire left side.

4 days later CT scans revealed the cancer has spread to my facial muscles and neck muscles.

on October 30th 2024 I will have two oncologist operating on me to remove my thyroid all my lymph nodes both left & right side of my neck, Partial or complete removal of my facial and neck muscles.

once everything is removed it is then sent away to Anaplastic scientists to see if the cancer has spread.

I have suffered enough and now I must navigate this devastating journey.

Rach’s Non Fatal Strangulation, Can In Fact Be Fatal Years After The Fact.

my legacy is that if police attend an DV incident where the victim has been strangled they are taken to emergency department for urgent CT scanning, Following this FREE CT SCANNING EVERY SIX MONTHS.

I also request that police and first responders be trained in not all significant damages can be seen by the naked eye.
