Thank you to all of you who have shared, cared about this ban, provided outreach and education, and ultimately are in this for the push on decreasing plastic pollution as it affects all of us here on Earth. 

Thank you all! Just an update, the Nome City Council had their work session to address a plastic ban in Nome - they are working toward drafting a city ordinance to ban plastic grocery bags and plastic straws. 
This will be a long process, but I believe their intention is to jump on the 'decrease plastic pollution' efforts all over the world, and especially as a coastal community with so many Nome residents expressing their support for such a change.
