Levi W started this petition to NOAA and

The Humphead Wrasse, also known as Napoleon Fish, is an endangered species of fish. The habitat of the wrasse is threatened and the population is decreasing at an alarming rate. I care very much about the ocean and its beautiful creatures, including the amazing Humphead Wrasse. Illegal fishing of this creature is also a small part as to why the species is endangered.

I would like others to support this petition so that the Humphead Wrasse can become populated again and so that it and its habitat can be left in peace. Our oceans creatures are beautiful and their homes are a major part of their survival. With the help of other organizations and with others who share the passion of the ocean, I believe we can save this species before it’s too late.

What I’d love to see come from this is the species of Wrasse blossom and more things are done to protect it and its home. I would like to see things being done to stop fishermen from illegally fishing for this creatures and for the pollution of their habitat to come to a stop. I would also like to stop the consumption of the Humphead Wrasse until the species is back to a stable state, even then the amount of wrasse used in cooking and fishing should be limited to prevent it going into endangerment again.
