Blue Planet Society are the only marine conservation organisation with a dedicated End Shark Tournaments campaign. Our first step was to target corporate sponsors of shark tournaments. This was successfully achieved this year, with 95% of major sponsors pulling out of shark-killing competitions at our request.
Our next step is to target the authorities and conservation organisations that licence and oversee these events.
We will also continue to raise public awareness of the shark tournaments/rodeos issue, and this is where you can help.
