No War: Keep Australia Neutral

No War: Keep Australia Neutral

## Australia Must Choose Peace: Sign the Petition
Australians deserve a foreign policy guided by peace, independence, and diplomacy. I am calling on the Australian Government to distance itself from escalating conflict between the United States and Iran, and to reject involvement in any military action that could draw our nation into another costly and dangerous war.
Rising tensions between major powers create risks far beyond one region. Any further escalation could have devastating humanitarian consequences, destabilise global security, and place Australia in harm’s way through automatic alignment with allies.
Australia should act in our own national interest — not be pressured into conflicts that do not serve the wellbeing of our people. Our country has an opportunity to be a voice for calm, dialogue, and international cooperation.
Instead of supporting military escalation, Australia should publicly advocate for:
- Immediate de-escalation by all parties
- UN-led diplomatic negotiations
- Protection of civilian lives
- A foreign policy based on peace and sovereignty
- Investment in domestic priorities like healthcare, education, housing, and the environment
War carries enormous human and economic costs. Australians know those costs are too high. We should not repeat the mistakes of the past by following others into conflicts with no clear benefit and lasting consequences.
Our leaders must hear that many Australians want diplomacy over destruction, peace over fear, and independence over blind loyalty.
