The new automated traffic cameras in Davenport are a violation of the 6th amendment. They are not about “safety on the road” they are a blatant cash grab funded by your taxes. If the city really cared about safety on the road they would fix the roads not install a system specifically meant to strong arm the residents of Davenport out of even more money. This petition is to bar the city from installing these.
