¿Do you want to pay for someone else's use or the electricity? Around the United States, people are facing the forced reality of subsidizing the electricity Data Centers consume. Unlike Ireland that has passed legislation on Data Centers that stablishes that Data Centers must generate as much electricity as they consume without hurting the ratepayers or having rate payers for the infrastructure itself.   At least one Doña Ana County Commisioner claims "He has done his homework on the topics" but doesn't understand that the infrastructe will end up being payed by rate payers, since that is the case on anything related to infrastructure, unless regulated by the government that states otherwise (Not the case). We are not in Ireland. 

The amount of water will be inmense, using millions of gallons per day,  think of environmental impact done directly to our water and air basin. 

¿Do you want to have this Data Center in your back yard, where we will have to pay their electricity bill, when there are people who struggle to take food to their home while this mega corporation that we don't know who is behind it, Amazon, Microsoft, Blackrock, Meta, Chrome, make tons of revenue? They build this and they leave the contamination behind, Doña Ana County Commisioners want to approve this, and they are here to serve the best interest of their constituents, they will term out and leave! Let's take out power Back! We The People!
