Thank you so so much to everyone who has taken the time to sign, and for the great feedback comments, all of which will be given to the appropriate bodies attempting to bring a 63 bedroom Premier Inn to St David's. The response so far has been amazing, with currently over 500 signatures not only from our own local community, but far reaching including many many visitors to our beautiful city, who are also clearly outraged at the idea. Please, if you can think of someone who loves St David's, who cares about the feel and character, who supports small family run accommodation businesses, please share this petition. We only have a very short time to amass as many as we can, and to reach 1000 by Thursday 18th May would be incredible, as below* Local people who wish to can collect a NOPi No to Premier Inn St David's poster to display in a window to show your support. These can be collected from TYF shop, Veg Patch, Pebbles coffee shop. I have also attached one below if you would like to print your own. Let's turn St David's purple for the right reasons! *We probably only have one opportunity to speak out against this unbelievable situation we find ourselves in. On Friday 19th May (2-7pm) and Saturday 20th May (10-2.30pm) there will be an open exhibition of plans and discussion at Oriel Y Parc (Tourist Information Centre), St David's. If you can, please come and join us, see for yourself the plans, and have your say. *This event is hosted by the planners and land trust behind the housing, and not any of us from NOPi.
