We are angry and upset about the changes in the triaging system at Todmorden Doctors. To have the option of only being able to request an appointment or any other medical need online, is alienating to many people. We have particular concerns for those who are elderly or struggling with capacity to manage digital forms in this way. We are not against online triaging as an option but we request that phone or face to face options for booking an appointment or making simple medical requests are re-instated. We believe the new system is discriminatory and exclusionary to a significant number of patients and that it will worsen the relationship between staff and patients
