This planning application is scheduled to go before Cumbria County Council's Development & Control Committee on 17th January in Kendal. Although this could be delayed again at the discretion of the planning officer, it is the date everyone opposing this application must work towards and it is important to note that objections can still be submitted until that date, so if you haven't already submitted an objection, please do so. We would also like to remind supporters that objections are submitted on an individual basis - not per household, so even if one person from your house has submitted, please consider submitting a second objection from another adult within your home. If you have covered all the objection points you can think of in your first objection and are unsure of what to base a second objection on, we can suggest the subject of the dangers of silicosis from wind-blown sand particulates for residents living near quarries. This is a subject members of the 'No2Wannop' campaign group have only just stumbled upon but it is extremely concerning and highly relevant to the people of Faugh.
