Franklin Graham is set to headline this year's Festival of Hope gathering at Rogers Arena in                                                     Vancouver, BC, Canada, March 3-5.

Although this event is supported by many local churches in the area, there are many others in the Christian community who are uneasy with having Franklin Graham speak in Vancouver, in light of his outspoken bigotry targeting refugees, muslims and the LGBTQ+ community.  

The goal of this petition is to demonstrate that not all Christians in the city of Vancouver agree with Franklin Graham.  In light of recent events in our country (ie. the shooting in Quebec) and south of the boarder, many people of Christian faith in Vancouver believe that Franklin Graham will not help establish and bring shalom (peace).  Many believe that his presence will in fact do the opposite. The purpose of this petition is to stand in solidarity with marginalized and minority groups, as we stand for the justice and dignity of all people, regardless of race, religion, gender or orientation.
