A MAJOR OPPORTUNITY TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE IS THERE FOR THE ASKING!

As mentioned yesterday, if you are able to, PLEASE make a short submission to the Commonwealth's Public Works Committee re the Tax Office's proposed move to Festival Plaza Tower 2 by tomorrow, Wednesday 24th June, close of business. 

if you can possibly submit something - even a few words - it would help hugely. Numbers are significant.

Make sure that you provide your return postal and email address and contact details with the submission, and if you want to make a confidential submission, make this clear on the front of the submission and include reasons for requesting confidentiality (your details would be redacted). In making a submission we are protected by parliamentary privilege, but all submissions are made public.

The relevant terms of the review are to review:
- the stated purpose of the proposed work and its suitability for that purpose
- the need for the work (it's a 15 year-old building they are leaving- see the image above- att. Giuseppe Tauriello)
- the cost-effectiveness of the proposal
 You will need to refer to one or more of the terms of the review.

Here is a template with some statements that may help, but for any of these statements please use your own words/ideas where possible- it rates better.

It's a short turnaround, but short concise statements are fine, even a polite but simple registering of discontent would be useful. This is a great opportunity! Please make the effort!
