In Harborside Middle School, we were given a website that stripped our rights as humans by barbarically forcing us to use a digital hall pass website. If we desperately needed to go to the bathroom, or were dealing with health issues it would take an absurd amount of time to send a request, get it approved, leave the classroom, etc.

 Students, AND TEACHERS, have the following complaints;

• Takes time off learning.
• Chromebooks could be dead.
• Could be an emergency.
• Disrupts the flow of teacher's lessons.
• Could be abused by teachers or students.
• Overall a bad idea.

WE NEED TO STOP THIS!!!

We vote to replace these digital hallpasses with the old paper clipboards and whatnot. As stated previously, we have several reasons for creating this petition. We hope you understand how important this is to not only us, as students, but us, as people.

To all students who know who I am- please do not directly reveal who I am to teachers unless you are threatened to get in trouble for it. I would rather get in trouble and take responsibility than you, but generally try to be kind of private about this lol.
