Hello with my update,

First we have 309 signatures. Next City Council meeting is Sept. 7, 2022. The same 6 councilors must vote to overturn the mayor's veto, and vote the in support of the Safe Outdoor Space moratorium, to over turn the mayors decision. Thanks to all the people who have signed the petition. I am going to the Albuquerque City Council Meeting and I will speak for a 2nd time, against the SOS spaces, if the the council does not vote to overturn the veto. Keep passing on this petition.

I will have a Patreon page soon. This is to cover my ink costs, and printing to provide a hard copy of the upcoming news letter on the West Mesa News website. Many of my elderly neighbors do not get on the internet, and want a printed newsletter.

It will educate people on the how you are the boss of the city council, since its your taxes that pay, their salary.

Today I walked the neighborhood on Estancia and also 60th Street. I spoke to many parents, renters, and homeowners. Some had heard about the Safe Spaces and others hadn't. They were all upset, because their kids walk to school past the proposed space on Bluewater and Estancia @ the Bethlehem Baptist Church. They all said the same thing, "How can pastor want to do this, and not care about the kids or residents? He's in it for the money, and probably does not live here!!!!" Others said many four letter words, in opposition of the proposed SOS space, "Go put that f....... space next to Keller's yard, and you'll see how fast that crap would get shut down." There you have it - people from every part of town do not want it near a school, or homes.
