My name is Kadie and I reside in Canton Illinois. It has come to my attention that Midwest Recovery Services wishes to purchase the 9 acre parcel (09-08-33-302-036 ) to build a Tow Truck company. Rezoning this land for commercial/ light industrial purposes would not only destroy the natural landscape but also pollute the environment, affect the quality of life for residents, and diminish property values. 

Rezoning this land for a tow company would not only pollute the surrounding environment, it would severely affect the quality of life for my neighborhood. The impact of losing these spaces extends beyond our immediate community and sets a dangerous precedent for future development on agriculturally zoned land, just like the Data Center. 

There are more suitable locations for industrial businesses, such as the towing company in question, that do not require sacrificing our irreplaceable agricultural lands. It's crucial that we explore alternatives that align with sustainable development goals. Rejuvenating unused industrial areas can provide viable locations for these businesses, keeping our agricultural zones intact.
