Roughly 59% of Canada makes minimum wage. Public servants make more money than 59% of people in Canada (that's only including minimum wage workers).

However at the picket lines signs read "I'd throw eggs but can't afford them". There are actual families who can't afford to feed themselves. 

Public servants want a raise which equates to 19.7 billion dollars. 

Public servants are paid well, excellent benefits, holidays off. 

Public servants are considered middle class while people who work minimum wage will never thrive the way it is currently.
