Animals here at the rescue need your voice!!! NOW!!!

The Rescue is located on Harbin Hill and a couple years ago Doe Mtn Recreation began less than one tenth mile from us. We deal with the high traffic, garbage being thrown on our property, and so on because it has brought visitors to Mtn City. However, now they are wanting to add a shooting range! The animals that come into our care are already scared and many injured from a gunshot wound..like Parker and Adrienne. Having a shooting range less than one tenth mile would be detrimental to their health and healing!!!! We NEED your voice!!! The animals cannot suffer due to this! They come to the rescue to find safety. Please help us help these animals!! We can't fight this alone. We need everyone to STAND UP and email the following in one email:

I'm sure y'all have heard DMRA wants to put a shooting range within a tenth of a mile from the Rescue DOG & End of Life Sanctuary , we need to let them know this is a horrible suggestion. Not only will the animals suffer but the residents of the area will be listening to gun shots all the time as well. 

The idea of a shooting range is wonderful no doubt BUT we need to be smart about where we put it. We aren't against the shooting range just against it being placed so close to the rescue and so close to residential areas.

DMRA is huge and there are plenty of other places to place a shooting range, let's voice or concerns together as a community to let them know we don't want a shooting range so close to the rescue and to residential areas.
