#CecilTheLion in Zimbabwe. This Jaguar in Argentina.
Weeks ago we watched with amazement how a hunter cruelly killed Cecil the Lion. Perhaps we see it as something far away, but in Argentina happens the same.
Béla Hidvegi is a Hungarian hunter who came to Argentina and hunt a Jaguar. Yes, you heard right, he entered the country and killed an animal that is CRITICALLY ENDANGERED. Then, even more incredibly, he published his experience in a long article in the Hunting magazine Nimród Safari, in his country.
Both Cecil Hunter as the one who killed our Jaguar are members of the Safari Club International (SCI), an organization that gathers hunters from all over the world.
The sad story of Cecil touches us very closely and after his assassination was known worldwide, the Safari Club International (SCI) suspended and is investigating the American hunter.
We need your firm to ask the Safari Club International (SCI) to expel this illegal Jaguar hunter from the institution who, believe it or not, today is International Life Member and Honorary President of the Hungarian chapter of the SCI.
In Argentina there are less than 250 jaguars in the wild and hunting is prohibited throughout the country by national and provincial laws.
We want no more cases like Cecil. Neither Zimbabwe nor in Argentina. SIGN AND SPREAD!
