The Issue

Long story short; IF THE RENT IS GOING UP, THE STANDARDS NEED TO GO UP TOO.

So I am about to file a civil rights complaint to rehabilitate my family and to make a statement against SLUMLORDS in this country along with the institutionalized corruption, under the color of law, that has historically enabled a slumlord culture in this Country.

I need your support and as many signatures as possible to demonstrate public interest and the impact that slumlords have on individual's quality of life.

Heres some background:

On 10/19/2023 I went to court to demand completed repairs by my slumlord; BTI LLC. I personally invited Wave News and Riot-Heart Media to attend and make a copy of the hearing for me, it was all over the news all over the country.

I also began pushing a bill in Frankfort KY titled "NO MORE SLUMLORDS"

Unfortunately, Jefferson County Codes and Regulations came to court and lied to benefit my slumlord; BTI LLC and claimed they never even came to my home when I had them on video on several occasions with several different inspectors inspecting my home.

During the follow up hearing on 11/16/2023 judge Tracy Davis arrested me for reposting the livestream from Riot-Heart media because the view was unflattering of counsel or code enforcement; Lashae Richie.

The truth remains that I was being retaliated against for exposing the fact that slumlords and the departments that are supposed to hold them accountable have been in bed together for an extremely long time while the only person suffering in the end is the tenant.

I was also exposing code enforcement officers violating due process for homeowners while they plot and take their belongings and land without any notice at all.

A tenant's only leverage is their rent so I chose to withhold mine especially considering I was on medical leave and could not work while unknowingly breathing in a substantial gas leak that was confirmed by LG&E on my 5th month of tenancy.

This was a conspiracy to retaliate against me politically and as an outspoken activist FOR THE PEOPLE as I continue to push for a bill to become a law that would abolish the slumlord culture starting in Louisville KY. This law would require local inspectors to actually enforce the laws versus putting slumlords on their payroll through revolving citations that are never enforced or equate to the necessary repairs.

This conspiracy was compounded by the fact that I also believe you should be able to record or broadcast public judicial proceedings in state courts just like any other member of the media as it is our 14th amendment right  to reserve equal protections of the laws that include the 1st amendment. However despite my beliefs, I didn't even need to record or broadcast in this case, there was always someone there recording on my behalf and I would get a copy from them because various judges across the state of Kentucky know that justice would not silently be denied if everything is recorded in HD. I needed to focus on the repairs and despite trying to focus, corruption still came into the mix in which is about to be addressed in an impending civil rights complaint.

So, I have put together this local campaign for the state of Kentucky and abroad since its going federal, so we can all thrive in a country where there are #NoMoreSlumlords.

Please sign and share with a friend so that i can use this campaign as proof of public interest. THANK YOU.
