The thick, reusable plastic bags being offered by some merchants as an alternative to the thin, single-use ones banned by the City of Montreal aren't any better for the environment. We should be using reusable bags only or have a  recycled paper alternative. Let’s be a part of this movement and create real change in not only Montréal but all of Canada! The stores should be forced to provide us with different eco-friendly alternatives. Thicker plastic bags just won’t do.
