Earth Day is this Wednesday, April 22, and all of us who support the full cleanup of the Santa Susana Field Lab want to show our support for the wonders of nature, even during COVID-19 lockdown.

You can enjoy the sunshine that comes through your window and share your support for a full clean up of the Santa Susana Field Lab, to protect the threatened wildlife living there, on Earth Day.

There are several wildlife species who are endangered or threatened who live on the 2,688-acre site and in the 10-mile radius surrounding it, such as the Least Bell’s Vireo sparrow and the Santa Susana TarPlant.

The dangerous chemical and radioactive waste in the soil and water on and surrounding the lab are incredibly harmful. We need the 100% cleanup to make sure our wildlife has a toxic-free and radioactive-free environment to thrive.

Wildlife needs to be protected from harmful contamination, just the same as the 500,000 people who live within 10-miles of the Santa Susana Field Lab.

Click here and we’ll mail you a Least Bell’s Vireo or Our Pollinators suncatchers craft, printed on special translucent paper. You can use crayons, colored paper, watercolor paint, or markers to make your own beautiful Earth Day suncatcher. Then hang it in a window. It’s sure to bring extra color and cheer to you and all who see it!

One suncatcher per child while supplies last.

You can also download a PDF of Our Pollinators or Least Bell’s Vireo coloring sheet.
