Next week, Boeing plans to celebrate Earth Day by leading a hike through the contaminated fields of the Santa Susana Field Lab. They are inviting innocent people to walk through the untouched site of the worst nuclear meltdown in U.S. history.
Why does Boeing organize this hike every Earth Day? To “greenwash” the site, and present themselves as being environmentally responsible when in fact there is overwhelming evidence that the site is dangerous, and families like mine are suffering from it.
Boeing is putting people’s health at risk in an effort to avoid paying for a full clean up. This is unconscionable.
RSVP here to join us early on Earth Day to warn people driving up to the site about the risks they are taking. We’ll have signs and information – hope to see you there!

P.S. We still want to hear stories about your personal connection to the Santa Susana Field Lab. Record a short video on your phone (be sure it’s horizontal!) and send it to SantaSusanaCampaign@gmail.com.
