I was inspired to start this petition after I counted 50 children besides my own daughter, who developed rare forms of cancer while living near the Santa Susana Field Lab. That number was horribly concerning, but I never could have imagined how many more stories others would begin to share after our petition began to grow.

Reading through the comments on our petition, it became clear to me that the 50 children I counted doesn’t even begin to scratch the surface of what the Santa Susana Field Lab has done to our community. I think it’s time to share our stories together, and to share them with Boeing, NASA and the Dept. of Energy who have caused our community so much pain.

In the video, tell us why the 100% clean up is important to you. If you have developed cancer or other health problems, please tell us about what that’s been like for you, or for your family. Please share with us what it was like to learn about the current hazards of the site, and if you think it might be related to health issues.
