A new zoning change (#2026-01) would allow another Dollar General on farmland—even though there are already three within 4 miles. We don’t need another store, and it would only bring more traffic and more problems, including potentially losing our beloved country stores like Riegel's (Betty's) and The Cove.

In other towns, dollar stores have proven to bring higher theft, vandalism, trespassing, loitering, and transient traffic. Our community chose this rural lifestyle for peace and safety. Let’s keep it that way. Speak up and oppose Zoning Change #2026-01. Sign this petition today.
