The Issue

Walt Disney, a man with creativity that gifted us a beautiful childhood with films, cartoons, and the magic.

Years later the company is nothing more than a money hungry soulless cash grab, it's the real life Wasteland of Epic Mickey.

Their live action movies started back with 101 Dalmatians in 1996 (and apparently The Jungle Book in 1994. Yes they made two)

They made another live action remake of a 2D classic, Cinderella, but it was named after the villain. The other was Alice in Wonderland, but that's more of a sequel.

Overall people didn't mind the live action remake at the time, but that's when Beauty and the Beast came in and changed Disney for the worst. The movie was successful, but then we got Mulan, The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, Pinocchio, Dumbo, and The Lion King. Theses films are basically known for cheap cash grabs that don't follow the story too well, especially the more recent movie Snow White.

Disney tries to make it on top with theses films, especially trying to sapotas another movie like Sonic the Hedgehog 3, which should've been an obvious winner, but Disney threaten theaters to remove Sonic 3. Selfish and narcissist.

Recently a 2D animated movie came out without any marketing, The Day The Earth Blew Up, a Looney Tunes movie. David Zaslav (like always) didn't give a shit about what people want, but when Ketchup Entertainment showed it in theaters, it was very positive! It only gain 6 million dollars, but at least people are enjoying it. If the movie got 50 million dollars, we all would've gotten Coyote vs ACME, the movie that has been hiatus for years.

But when Snow White came out. People didn't like it, lots of empty seats in every theaters, but it gain 87.3 million dollars. That is such bullshit that a movie that's been hated because the actress insulting a beloved classic gain way more than a 2D animated Looney Tunes movie that was made for a lot of heart and soul into it. What's worst is that theaters are pulling The Day The Earth Blew Up out to make room for the Snow White film.

This is where I draw the line, if Disney can't do live action movies, then actual good movies can be successful in the box office. Let's stand up to this corrupted company and tell them no more live action remakes, once and for all.
