The Armory Data Center, now dubbing themselves the Armory Innovation District, is back 6 months later with a new and even larger 120 mW 3 billion dollar hyper-scale proposal to be built in the Goodwill building behind the Armory.
In September 2025, the developers asked for a continuance, saying 'they would consider public feedback from the developer's townhalls'. But then they came back with an even more dangerous plan, thinking we wouldn't notice.
Our elected officials have failed to listen to the will of the people.
Our Board of Aldermen failed us by not introducing a Moratorium on Data Centers in St. Louis in the Fall, leaving us screwed and leaving the city at risk of being plundered of it's resources by big tech.
Our mayor Cara Spencer failed us by continuously and blatantly ignoring us, whether it's on Northside Tornado Recovery, AI Data Center development, or state takeover of SLMPD.
And at the same time, most of us are living paycheck-to-paycheck, barely scraping by. We are literally fighting for our lives. This is a call-to-action to every single person in St. Louis: fight back against corporate greed.
We are stronger together, and we can't rely on our politicians to keep us safe. WE keep us safe.
Use your voice and join us in testifying at the online-only Conditional Use Hearing Thursday March 19, 2026 at 8:30am.
Resources to help testify are available at noMOdatacenters.org, including an independent report published this week called "Community Transparency Report on the Proposed Armory Data Center in St. Louis City."
There is also now a Facebook event to RSVP to and share with your friends.
The Conditional Use Hearing is the only place the city hears public feedback regarding the Armory-Goodwill data center proposal. We hope to see you there!
