We are a group of Framfield residents who are passionate about saving the Framfield Memorial Recreation Ground from having a 50 foot telecommunications mast on our parish land.
We are, strongly against its siting on the memorial ground for the following primary reasons:

1. The land is a memorial ground given in memory of those that fought in WW1 and for the benefit of parishioners, many of the trees were planted in memory of those loved ones that lost their lives.
2. Unacceptable visual impact to historic village asset and setting. The negative visual impact this will have on the rural character of the land that will be changed forever.
3. Potential health grounds, especially being sited 150 metres from the village pre-school, Primary school, 20 metres from the play park and sports facilities. It will disrupt and impact on football play area.
4. Unacceptable and inappropriate among trees planted in memoriam. 
5. Too close to residential dwellings.
6. Possible threat to bat flight lines and potential threat to other wildlife in nearby woods.
