The truth has been laid bare: UPS CEO Tomé's chilling words confirm what many of us have feared. In her own words: "With Network of the Future, we are reimagining our network. We are leaning into automation in ways we never have before. Imagine, we are talking about automating every aspect inside of the buildings. We are also going to collapse some buildings that we don't need any longer into larger, more automated buildings."
But let's not forget the fiction we've been sold. Teamsters President Sean O’Brien’s empty promises of protection against autonomous vehicles, artificial intelligence and robots are nothing but lies. His words are a smokescreen, a feeble attempt to cover up the union's complicity in the erosion of our rights and livelihoods.
