Our goal is to abolish homework for schools in the UK. We believe that homework is wrong and that if students want to study then they should make that choice to study. Here are some reasons why homework should be stopped.

1. Time outside of school should be time to relax away from school, not to do extra work.

2. Homework increases stress level and could give people anxiety.

3. It is a proven fact that homework is unnecessary as New Zealand has one of the best educations in the world and they don’t receive homework.

4. Students with after-class activities, internship, or a part-time job find it difficult to catch up with additional tasks. They are burned out by the end of the day and have no energy to do homework.

5. Homework should be banned if it does not have anything to with the topic or studied subject. It is not ethical to assign tasks that students did not cover in class and expect to get excellent papers.

6. Research by the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) proved that in 4 hours of home-taken assignments weekly, the extra time invested in education has a negligible effect on productivity.
