PROTECT NZ’S GE-FREE STATUS: Parliament "Moo-vement" Rally
New Zealand is currently GE-Free, but with a second reading of the HSNO Amendment Bill fast approaching, our clean, green food systems and environment face massive regulatory changes.
We are gathering at Parliament to take a stand for food safety, public health, and environmental protection.
📅 When: 12:45 PM – 2:00 PM, Wednesday, 23rd September
📍 Where: Parliament Grounds, Molesworth Street, Wellington
🎤 Guest Speakers: Hon Mark Patterson & Scott Willis MP (sharing insights on keeping NZ GE-Free)
DRESS CODE:
We are aiming for a highly visual, high-impact presence!
Minimum: Black clothing and black shoes (white sneakers okay!).
Maximum: Unleash the Hot Pink & Black theme! Grab some pink spray paint for your gumboots, don a pink wig, or add a massive hot pink flower to your hair.
Have a cow costume? Wear it! Keep an eye out for the team member with the 'Maddest Cow' sticker.
HOW YOU CAN HELP:
Turn up, support, and help us hold our lightweight signs. This is a citizen-led, and completely party-neutral rally. Food and the environment are above politics, and we welcome all who want to protect NZ's future.
